Sneaker Freaker #40 Cease and Desist

£9.00 GBP

Founded back in 2002,Sneaker Freaker is the first and only international footwear magazine. From its roots as a DIY-style fanzine to today’s global coverage, its pages have documented every colab, custom, limited edition, retro reissue, Quickstrike, Hyperstrike and Tier Zero sneaker released over the last decade and a half.

Our favourite feature from this issue shines a light on Tadahiro Hakamata, owner and designer of over 100 pairs of Bespoke Air Force 1 high-tops. The designs are totally nuts. Wait til you see the ‘Pen, Pineapple, Apple, Pen’ edition. And to think he still doesn't get a Nike discount after all this time...

Staying in Japan for a minute, we take a tour through Kevsic's collection of vintage ASICS runners before we end up at Casio, where we detail the rich history of the original G-SHOCK.

We also check in with Peter Fogg, designer of amazing Nike ACG gems including the Humara, Terra Humara, Zoom Tallac, Ashiko and the Albis series. Interviews with Studio Hagel, Drake Cereal and Chad Manzo are the icing on this creative cake!
