Sneaker Freaker #43 Air Dior
Founded back in 2002,Sneaker Freaker is the first and only international footwear magazine. From its roots as a DIY-style fanzine to today’s global coverage, its pages have documented every colab, custom, limited edition, retro reissue, Quickstrike, Hyperstrike and Tier Zero sneaker released over the last decade and a half.
We’ve been in lockdown for long enough, so get ready to flex because issue 43 of your favourite sneaker magazine is finally here!
Our killer ‘Dunk versus Jordan 1 versus Dunk SB’ comparison takes nerding out to the next level! Retrospectives on GORE-TEX, ellesse and hummel provide history lessons, while in Paris, Super Lalla throws down shade as we document her eclectic collection of Nike ACG heat. And don’t forget Khalli Vegas – we finally found some time to focus on his vintage tennis fixation.
On the product review side, we have Nike’s new Space Hippie range, Bespoke IND’s new custom Dior joints, Boris Bidjan Saberi’s Salomon range and a hectic atmos 2020 anniversary feature that will keep you up to date on all that’s great in Tokyo.
We also travel to Jamaica, where Al ‘Fingers’ Newman explains why Clarks is the most influential brand among rudeboys and deejays. The images by Mark Read are beyond cool. The Beastie Boys and Run-DMC photo feature is another retroriffic classic.
And last but not least, if you haven’t mortgaged your kidneys yet, the most mental release of 2020 is due any day now. As our cover story reveals, the ‘Air Dior’ Jordan 1 is going to set the bar higher than ever for unobtainium desirability and reseller madness.
